Student Athlete & Community Leader

Katie Berkovich

Paralegal, varsity athlete, and dancer bringing hard work, responsibility, and a love for community to everything — from the law office to the soccer field.

About Me

A senior at Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences in Brooklyn, balancing a full course load with varsity athletics, school leadership, and paid work. Responsibility starts at home — interpreting for family members, caring for sick, elderly, and younger relatives, and helping support the household.

Outside the classroom, time goes to working as a paralegal at a personal injury law firm, hosting at a busy restaurant, starting every game as a varsity soccer midfielder, leading dance for S!NG, and serving the school through the National Honor Society, tour guiding, and CTEEN. Each role reflects the same goal: showing up, working hard, and making a real contribution to the people around me.

Looking ahead, firsthand experience in a law office and a commitment to service continue to guide the next chapter — college, and the opportunities it opens.
